Cancun Spring Break Guide

Everyone knows that college kids - like you - are crazy about finding the best night life while on vacation. Going to Mexico, you want to be able to let loose and have the time of your life all night long in a series of crazy Cancun dance clubs and discos. Indeed, there's nothing better than a great night of dancing to live music and DJ's with a steaming crowd of hard bodies ready for action. For many, it's what Mexico is all about. But there's something else equally important to college students who come to Cancun for Spring Break. You guessed it; food.

Indeed, one of the facts that can easily be glossed over is good eating - that's right; delicious food is without a doubt one of the top items on the list of a college student's favorite activities. It's a must have for healthy youngsters, and that's why you don't want to be stuck down to this fantastic resort destination Mexico without knowing where to go for the tastiest, most affordable dining around town. In terms of the other priority - sexy madness all night long - you need to know that good food is essential. Really, how are you going to get your groove on without a hearty dinner to power you through the night?

Fortunately, Cancun delivers on your need for inexpensive, quality dining - and when we say "deliver," we're not just talking about room service. That's because this relaxing and fun filled Spring Break vacation destination is full to the brim of exciting locales where happy college students like you rule the scene. No more will you be stuck in some stodgy, overpriced restaurant - you'll be free to be your fun-loving Spring Break self and eat like royalty as well.

You'll also be happy to know that a few of the best spots for good grub can be found on the waterfront - making the location for good collegiate eateries prime, as well as the rib served at some of these places!

First of all, you will most likely be interested in checking out the wide selection of bar and grill locations along the water in Cancun. Many of these places actually double up as dance clubs. By opening early, they present a wonderful few hours for hungry college kids such as you to grub on delicious barbequed shrimp and steak specialties. It's bar food, so don't expect fine dining quality at places like this. Still, however, numerous students congregate here not just because they have to, but because they want to. That's right, many attractive young students are head over heals in praise of these places. They get to eat great food here, hangout and socialize in a relaxed manner, and then hit the red hot dance floor as the night starts boiling to a simmer.

Another great way to go is a little bit more touristy, but still a lot of fun for the happy-go-lucky spring break vacationer like you. You'll want to check out Planet Hollywood and the Hard Rock Cafe - not only do they serve up some of the best burgers and fries, but they also incorporate a bit of authentic Mexican zest into the menu.

The scene at these places is also off the hook. That's because they do a great job of regularly scheduling live shows that start around half past ten in the evening and go late. The places shut down around three, giving you and your buddies and friends plenty of time to enjoy your food and rock out at these great, theme-based restaurant/clubs. And the themes are really well-done here. By decking out the place in Hollywood and Rock 'n Roll memorabilia, The Hard Rock Cafe and Planet Hollywood present extremely attractive places for college kids.

Even if the cuisine is not all Mexican, it is a good idea to get into the Mexican spirit while eating here in Cancun. Don't just wolf down that burger or burrito and hit the dance floor - you'll have problems. Instead, it's a lot more enjoyable to relax and enjoy your meal. It's part of the Mexican culture and worth picking up while you're here. And besides, a great place where great college kids hang out is not something to be rushed through.
