Much newer than most of the clubs, this classy joint reflects the new wave of disco/dance club fever hitting southern Mexico and radiating out across the world wide party loving culture. It's theme based, which is nothing new, but it's the way they do it which makes it great. Filled with the latest party night technology like advanced fog machines, amazing light displays, impeccable sound system and more, The City features five different colorful and distinctly themed party rooms on three different floors. What's more is the main stage falls down from the third story, rotating, through to the rest of the club to enhance performances by famous artists and DJ's.

This great frozen drink club was inspired by Jimmy Buffet's hit, and not only by its name but by its service has a special way of glorifying a good drinker better than any other club here in Cancun. Fat Tuesdays is also a must do on the list of excellent watering holes in Cancun. That's because not only is the scene great here, but the food isn't half bad as well. Happy college spring breakers like you can enjoy all sorts of sea food and a variety of down home menu items here in the evening - they open early, at around 7 or so - and later party all the crazy night long on the fabulous dance floor. With great live music, classic hits on the stereo, good food and a pleasant atmosphere, Fat Tuesdays is one of the best places to party in town.
Another fantastic dive is the Coco Bongo's. It's a all out, all night, live music and DJ club that offers one of the most intoxicating night life destinations in Cancun. Full of like minded college students, the place blows up during Spring Break, making it one of the hippest places to be. Another place slightly off the beaten trail is Cat's. This is one of the coolest reggae/hip-hop joints around, and will satisfy anyone's thirst for some soul-driven dance hall or bumpin' beats. Dive in and catch the reggae fever; it's all here at Cat's.
