"Barco" is the word for "boat" in Spanish - and you'll soon see why the club is named this. That's because not only will you dance the night away, but you'll do it afloat as well.
Go to the only club in Cancun that actually takes you for a ride…in a good way. The Barco Pirates Night is a club that many happy Cancun vacationers like you will remember as a raucous and rowdy experience with a hint of something special. The fact that you're headed out to seas with a bunch of reveling party-goers makes this cruising night club intimate, sexy and a whole lot of fun.
One thing I know is that when I party, I like to keep my options open. Many people share this with me too - if you're out at a club, you may want to just head on over to the next venue if the mood takes a turn for the worse. The music can turn bad, things can get sleepy - whatever; that's why they call it club hopping. So you may understand my initial hesitation and my lack of enthusiasm before heading out on the Barco Pirates Night. Even if only for a few hours, it is still a commitment of your valuable Cancun party time.
Yet the minute I stepped onto the boat, I knew that I'd made the right decision. It's like stepping off the plane in Honolulu to have a beautiful girl throw a lei around your neck, but better. Everyone here is down to bump and grind from the get go - and with a theme like Pirate, how bad could it really get? Candidly speaking, you'll have one of your better nights in Cancun when you go out on this nightclub cruise. With a lavishly decorated dance floor, and the possibility for live music as well as DJ's mixes, the play list on Barco Pirates Night is never disappointing and the mood is consistently groovy.
How do they do it? It's hard to say what specific features make this club one of the most entertaining in Cancun. "Is it the pirate theme or the boat theme?" Such a question could be eternal. The thing to remember here, however, is that the people always make the scene. So when you take into account that you're getting together with a large number of fun loving vacationers, you can't be too far off. Also figure that these are people who are crazy enough to take a cruise at night that brands itself as not just any disco, but a floating, pirate disco. In short, consider yourself "in" with the right crowd. Despite my initial wariness, I became endeared to pirates of types that night.
The only negative aspect of this cruise is that it has to end at some point. "Oh well," I said to myself when getting off of the boat - "nothing's perfect."
