You will be enchanted and awed when you start these exotic boat trips to the Isla Mujeres and Cozumel are enjoyed by visitors to Cancun on a daily basis. There are many ways that you can take a boat trip. You can go deep sea fishing, diving, snorkeling, or just off on a day trip visiting one of the islands close by.

The Isla Mujeres is only 8 miles from the shores of Cancun. If you enjoy snorkeling then the El Garragon Natural Park is a beautiful place to see the habitants under the sea. There are four different ways to get to Isla Mujeres. The public ferry in Puerto Juarez and it will only take around 15 to 45 minutes. You might enjoy a shuttle boat that leaves from Playa Linda or Playa Tortuga, the ride will take one hour. The watertaxi is another way to visit Isla Mujeres, but is more expensive but faster. But, who really wants to miss out on the ride and arrive faster? The best way is to take a daylong pleasure boat trip most of which leave from the pier at Playa Linda.

There are more than 25 boats a day leaving Cancun and taking eager swimmers, sun lovers, snorkelers, and shoppers to Isla Mujeres. The many different types of boats you will see are yachts, catamarans, trimarans, and even old-time sloops. Finding the right tour for you and family should not be hard because there are so many offered. Most of the boat trips leave around 9:30 to 10:00am and last around 6 hours. Some of the tours include a small breakfast, lunch, and even snorkel gear rentals. There are some very nice evening tours that will whisk you away to the beaches away from the hustle and bustle or to witness a pirate show. These tours usually include a lobster dinner or Mexican buffet. Prices for the daytime cruises usually cost around $45.00 per person.

El Garrafon Natural Park is a very great place for a full dive facility. They have gear rental for diving and snorkeling. The park has many wonderful activities that the entire family will enjoy. The entrance fee is $22.00 and includes access to the reef and their museum, the use of their inner tubes, life preserver vests, hammocks, kayaks, and showers. You can also rent snorkel equipment, diving equipment and lockers. There are many nature trails where you can enjoy a casual hike and enjoy the natural scenery around Cancun. One package they offer is the all inclusive which also includes dining at one of the many restaurants that they have to offer, plus domestic drinks, snorkel gear, locker and towel. A wonderful boat trip that includes deep sea fishing is just of the coast of the Yucatan peninsula and many people travel from all over the world to take this fishing tour. Beach Life vacations offer two great boat trips. The first one is the Isla Mujeres Adventure. You will enjoy cruising through the bay to the "Island of Women". After your arrival you will love swimming with all the colorful and exotic fish on a secluded reef. After swimming you will love the BBQ which features hot dogs, hamburgers and chicken. They tour is only available on Tuesday and the price is $35.00. Their other boat trip is the Beach Party Cruise. The trip begins with a continental breakfast and then the boat trip to Isla Mujeres. After there you can spend your day any way you wish. This tour also includes an All-You-Can-Eat & Drink an open bar and a grilled food menu. The tour is available on Thursday and cost $28.00.
